Privacy Notice
This notice explains how JourneyForCare uses the information you provide when planning logistics around an existing medical appointment in India.
Last updated 22 September 2026
Who we are
JourneyForCare is a unit of BIVA International. BIVA International operates JourneyForCare and is responsible for the personal information handled as described in this notice.
Information we collect
We collect the journey details you enter, including your hospital or preferred destination, appointment date or preferred timeframe, departure location, nationality, traveller numbers, expected stay and optional mobility or translator preferences. If you need appointment support, we also collect the broad treatment area or type of specialist you are looking for. If you request pricing, we collect your name, contact details, country, passport nationality and preferred way to be contacted.
For invited regional partner onboarding, we collect the company’s facilitation model, agency name, point of contact, service regions, services offered, business email, WhatsApp number and the version and time of agreement acceptance.
The website does not currently accept medical-record uploads. If records are needed later to help arrange an appointment, we will explain how they may be provided after contacting you.
How we use your information
We use your information to understand your journey, prepare suitable logistics options, contact you about your request, coordinate services you decide to book, keep request records and protect the website from misuse. We use partner onboarding information to administer confirmed regional coordination relationships and route suitable enquiries.
Who receives your information
JourneyForCare may share only the information needed to handle your request with the regional travel or logistics organisation assigned to support your journey, and with service suppliers involved in arrangements you choose. We may also use technology providers that host or operate the website. We do not sell your personal information.
International processing
Your journey may involve organisations in your home country and in India. Where information must be transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to limit the information shared and use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, provide agreed services, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict some uses, or withdraw consent. You may raise a privacy request through the JourneyForCare contact channel used for your enquiry. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Website translation and cookies
The language selector uses Google Translate and may set a language-preference cookie. Google may receive technical information when its translation service loads. Essential storage may also be used to keep your unfinished trip details on your device while you move between the journey steps.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current version.
